Big Brother Winner Has Saved Two People Having Seizures In Movie Theaters

Dr. Will Kirby is a popular dermatologist in Southern California who has simultaneously built himself a TV career following an appearance on Big Brother that led to him winning Season 2 of the hit CBS show. He may soon be more known as a doer of good deeds, however, after having helped not one but two seizure victims at a movie theater over the weekend. Here's what happened.

On Friday, the doctor was visiting the Cinemark Playa Vista movie theater with his wife, reality TV star Erin Brodie, when a man began having a seizure in the front row of the theater. Dr. Will Kirby did what many doctors would in the situation. He sprinted into action, per TMZ. One he got to the front of the theater and stabilized the man having the seizure, he also stayed with him for nearly 20 minutes until emergency medical services was able to take the man to the hospital. After nabbing some applause, the theater played the second half of the film for audiences, who patiently waited while the medics came and did their thing.

The movie in question that the former Big Brother contestant was seeing was the brand new comedy Blockers. It wasn't the only movie theater in Cinemark Playa Vista causing seizures that night. After Dr. Will Kirby finished helping the man in the Blockers screening, theater workers actually asked the doctor to pop into a screening of new horror movie A Quiet Place, where a young woman was also suffering a seizure. Improbable? Yes. Did it happen? Also yes. Dr. Will Kirby reportedly also helped that woman until medics arrived, and received another standing ovation for his troubles.

I'm not sure how common it is for people who occasionally have seizures to suffer them at the movies, but it seems crazy that two people would have a seizure in totally different movies at roughly the same time at the same movie theater. I dunno if there's something going on in the projections over there, but if Cinemark keeps causing seizures, the theater may want to look into that. In the meantime, they gave Dr. Will Kirby free movie passes, so presumably he'll be attending that theater a lot in the near future. So, there's a chance he could be on hand should this type of thing ever happen again.

Dr. Will Kirby won Big Brother back in 2001. He's also a graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his dermatology residency at Western University/Pacific Hospital. In the time since his first big TV appearance, he's also appeared on E! News, as well as episodes of shows like The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Doctors. He's also still known as a memorable winner on Big Brother, and has periodically shown up on that series to help out with the jury roundtable segment on the show.

First Look At Chris Hemsworth And Tessa Thompson In The Men In Black Spinoff

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones' days of protecting Earth from aliens are over, but Sony is keeping the Men in Black film series with a new duo. Next year's Men in Black spinoff, a.k.a. MIB, will throw Chris Hemsworth's Agent H and Tessa Thompson's Agent M into the mix, relaunching this series in a manner similar to what Jurassic World did for the Jurassic Park franchise. Although MIB has been rolling cameras since July, until today we hadn't gotten a good look at the main actors suited up. Hemsworth has now rectified this by posting the below photo.

One can't be a proper Men in Black agent without wearing the right attire, hence why Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are looking quite dapper in this behind-the-scenes photo from the Men in Black spinoff set. And it wouldn't be a proper social media post without a few hashtags, including #revengers4life, calling back to Hemsworth and Thompson's time together on Thor: Ragnarok. It's good to see these two back together for MIB, although now I'm eager to see some official stills of them. With principal photography still going on, though, it's doubtful those will come out until the end of the year at the earliest.

In case the above photo wasn't enough for you, Tessa Thompson took to Instagram to share some other pictures from the same selfie session.

For their second cinematic outing side-by-side, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will remain Earthbound, though they'll still be interacting with various visitors from elsewhere in the galaxy in the next Men in Black installment. That said, unlike the original Men in Black trilogy, which was primarily based in New York City, MIB is said to have more of a global feel, with Agents H and M reportedly working at the clandestine organization's London branch. Hemsworth and Thompson had a great rapport in Thor: Ragnarok, so fingers crossed they can replicate that for MIB while still giving fans a different kind of dynamic from their predecessors, Agents J and K.

Along with our leading protagonists, MIB's main cast includes Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall and Rebecca Ferguson, as well as Emma Thompson reprising Agent O following her previous appearance in Men in Black 3. The Fate of the Furious' F. Gary Gray is directing the picture, and Iron Man duo Art Marcum and Matt Holloway penned the script.

Original Bond Girl Eunice Grayson Has Died At 90

In the long-running James Bond franchise, there's a series tradition of the Bond girl, a femme fatale-type character who is often the love interest. There have been more Bond girls than there have been James Bonds and it all began in Dr. No with actress Eunice Gayson. Unfortunately, it's being reported that Gayson has passed away at the age of 90.

The news was reported by the official Eunice Gayson Twitter account, which wrote, "We are very sad to learn that our dear Eunice passed away on June 8th. An amazing lady who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be very much missed." No cause of death has been given. James Bond franchise producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, paid tribute to Gayson in a separate comment posted on the official James Bond Twitter account. The duo shared their condolences and wrote, "Our sincere thoughts are with her family."

Eunice Gayson is known best for her role as Sylvia Trench in the first James Bond film, 1962's Dr. No. She is the first Bond girl to grace the screen, starting a tradition that would last all the way to the most current Bond film, Spectre. Gayson also holds some distinction in the franchise. She is the first character to receive Bond's iconic catchphrase, "Bond, James Bond." Technically, Sylvia Trench first introduces herself this way at a casino, and Bond copies her, meaning she's really the one who created the catchphrase.

Speaking about the scene in 2012, Gayson said that actor Sean Connery was incredibly nervous while filming and would use permutations like permutations like Sean Bond, James Connery instead. The director, Terence Young, urged Gayson to take Connery out for a drink to calm his nerves and afterwards, he was able to deliver the line.

She also holds the honor of being the only Bond girl to appear in two James Bond movies. She would again appear in From Russia with Love. Like other Bond girls in the 60s and 70s, however, Gayson's voice was never heard in the movies. Her lines were rerecorded by the voiceover artist Nikki van der Zyl.

Prior to Dr. No, Gayson appeared in played in other screen roles ranging from movies to TV series to TV movies. One such role was starring in Hammer Horror's 1958 movie The Revenge of Frankenstein. Following the conclusion of her Bond role, Gayson was in TV shows such as The Avengers and The Saint.
