There Was A Mini Twilight Reunion, See The Photo
While its been seven years since the Twilight saga concluded and each of the films young stars have since moved on to their own projects, some of them are still undoubtedly close. One mini Twilight reunion actually happened earlier this week. Can you spot which two actors are still posing for pictures together after all this time? Take a look:
No, your eyes dont deceive you! Kristen Stewart (left) and Taylor Lautner (middle) snapped a picture together with their hairstylist Cj Romero, who recently posted the photo on his Instagram. Stewart was Team Jacob all the way in the photo taken during a surprise birthday to ring in Taylor Lautner 27th year, which he reached on February 11.
Taylor Lautner also posted about the celebration, thanking his girlfriend for surprising him. Check out his Instagram post below for another look at Kristen Stewart and Lautner together, this time posing for a group picture of the whole party.
The actors have known each other for over 10 years and have a unique shared experience of becoming teen celebrities when 2008s Twilight became a cultural phenomenon, similar to Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grints journey on the Harry Potter movies.
In the Twilight saga, while Kristen Stewarts Bella first became first enamored with teen vampire Edward Cullen, as the movies progressed, she also developed a close relationship with Taylor Lautners Jacob and his werewolf clan. While Jacob had a small supporting part in the first Twilight movie, Lautners role expanded as the books adaptations continues through 2012.
Since the end of the Twilight movies, Taylor Lautner hasnt continued to star in blockbusters. The actor starred in the 2015 star-studded Netflix film The Ridiculous 6 alongside Adam Sandler, Terry Crews, Luke Wilson and Will Forte. Hes primarily moved to the small screen, starring in Scream Queens in 2016 and Cuckoo from 2014 to 2018.
On the other hand, Kristen Stewart has continued to keep busy on film sets of indie flicks such as Clouds of Sils Maria, Equals and Personal Shopper. Next up, Stewart will star in action thriller Underwater alongside T.J. Miller, the Charlies Angels reboot with Elizabeth Banks, Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott, and a recently announced rom-com called Happiest Season with Mackenzie Davis playing her girlfriend.
The third point to the Twilight star triangle, Robert Pattinson, has also been hard at work on a slew of film projects, including Amazons The Lost City of Z, the critically-acclaimed Good Time and will soon star in High Life and an upcoming movie with Marvel stars Tom Holland and Sebastian Stan called The Devil All the Time.
Pattinson has been in early rumored conversation to play the next Batman, but considering the stars avoidance of blockbusters since Twilight, it will likely stay a rumor.
For Twilight fans, its nice to see a couple of the stars still hanging out and having fun together. Maybe one day theyll work together on another project again!
